In 1974
graduated with honours
from British Columbia Institute
of Technology in Financial
Management ( Finance Option).
After
graduation, I completed advanced
training program as an Auditor with
the Federal Government Department of
National Revenue. I subsequently
worked as an
investigative Audit Accountant for
British Columbia Ministry of Finance. I did hundreds
of special purpose audits of
corporations, businesses and professions, under
Federal Income Tax Act and seven Provincial tax statutes.
I carried out
complex
audits on the
largest corporations in BC and
Canada at the time.
In 1980 I graduated as a Certified
General Accountant in BC. I was an
active member
of the CGA
Association of BC
for
18 years.
I retired in
good standing
in 1998.
For
15 years in my business and
corporate management career, I was a computer technology
entrepreneur.
The
engineering team that I assembled
and led as Chairman and CEO,
developed
several
unique computer
and software
system
technologies,
successfully marketed
internationally.
For
the past
several
years I have
worked
as a
business
and project
management
and
forensic audit consultant
on tax, divorce mediation and litigation.
I use my
management,
professional accounting and auditing
training and experience
to
cut costs for my
clients
in various business,
project
management, audit,
financial mediation and litigation consulting assignments
